Millers' Association has named Jane B.
DeMarchi coordinator
of technical
& export programs. Ms. DeMarchi will provide
support to James A. Bair, vice president and Paul B.
Green, export consultant.
In making the announcement, NAMA president Betsy Faga said, We are delighted to welcome Jane to the NAMA staff. She brings both industry and professional experience that will be valuable to the association. Having Jane in this position will enable the Washington office to provide additional information and services to our members.
Ms. DeMarchi began her career with the Ohio Department of Development as international business liaison with responsibility for attracting Japanese, European and Canadian foreign investment projects to Ohio. She then became manager of the Department's office and program in Hong Kong assisting Ohio companies in exporting products to China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Southeast Asia. She served in the Commercial Service Section of the Consulate General of the US in Shanghai, China before moving to the Washington, DC area. Through her own consulting business, Jane managed imports for US clients. Jane is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Asian Studies.
NAMA has 46 member companies operating 170 wheat, corn, oat and rye mills in 38 states and 150 cities. The aggregate production capacity of NAMA's membership is more than 160 million pounds of product daily, which is about 95% of the total U.S. capacity.
