Baby Foods
Several types of baby
food contain oats, mainly in the form of whole oat
flour. Dry pablum type infant foods are often just
oat flour with a little barley malt and some vitamins
and minerals. The product is drummed to
create the very thin flakes of pablum. Toddler foods
are often similar to ready to eat breakfast cereals,
and contain many of the same ingredients, including
oat flour. Other toddler cereals can be produced from
small, thin oat flakes such as baby or instant rolled
oats.
