Paul Maass joined ConAgra Inc. in 1988. In his current position as President and General Manager of ConAgra Mills, a part of ConAgra Foods, he is responsible for the company’s wheat milling business with 23 plants in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Since 2007 he has also assumed responsibility for ConAgra’s food ingredient distribution business; JM Swank. He began his career in 1988 as a Commodity Merchandiser in ConAgra’s wheat and oat milling by-product trading business. From 1996-2003 he was Director, responsible for all grain, oilseed and animal by-product trading businesses.
Paul became ConAgra Mills’ representative to NAMA in 2005. He serves on the Board of Directors and has one of the permanent seats on the Executive Committee. He has been actively involved in the Annual, Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Leadership meetings. He has been the Chairman of the Budget/Finance Committee the last two years during which time the committee reviewed NAMA’s minimum dues structure and made recommendations to the Board of Directors. At the request of the NAMA Chairman he also chaired a committee that reviewed and updated NAMA’s staff benefits and administrative procedures. Paul has been a member of the Ad Hoc Committee on Production Data since 2005.
