|Dr. Marty Matlock is a professor of ecological engineering in the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at the University of Arkansas. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and a Board Certified Environmental Engineer. Matlock’s research focus is design and management of ecosystem services, specializing in water resources.|
|Dr. Matlock has over 20 years’ experience in research and design, has published more than two dozen peer reviewed articles, authored three books, holds several patents and has received 22 national and international design awards.
He serves on the Executive Committee for the Field to Market Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture, Co-Chair for the Measures and Metrics Committee for the UN Foundation Solutions from the Land Program, and chairs the Environmental Protection Commission for the Cherokee Nation. He serves as technical advisor on ten international and corporate sustainability committees.
Dr. Matlock received his B.S. degree in soil chemistry, his M.S. degree in plant physiology and his Ph.D. in bioengineer system from Oklahoma State University.
